An exclusive industrial visit to the TNEB KADAPERI SUBSTATION 110/33KV near Tambaram, Sanatorium was organized by the Departments of EEE and ECE on 29/3/23 & 30/3/23. This visit gave insight to the students about the power distribution system and equipment used in the substation, indoor and outdoor units used at the power stations. A practical demonstration was conducted about data monitoring using SCADA and RTU where the students were able to gain knowledge on it.

HIET Polytechnic TNEB Industrial visit proved to be a knowledgeable session for the students, playing a significant role in supporting their academic curriculum. We appreciate and thank the efforts of the management and the faculty team for organizing this industrial visit and the students for their interactive participation making it a lively session.
