DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nOnam/Teachers Day was celebrated at HIET Padappai on 12th September 2015. The programme was arranged at Good Shepherds Seminar Hall\, HIET Padappai.\nThe programme started at 11.30am and was presided by Prof.K.Sundarajan Principal HIET Polytechnic College who welcomed Dr.N.S.Santoshkumar\, Director Legal Studies Govt of Tamilnadu as the Chief Guest for the Onam Celebrations. The Chief Guest in his address stressed about the importance of unity among people helping mentality and also talked about the services rendered by Confederation of Tamilnadu Malayalam Association (CTMA) in attaining the above mentioned points.\nDr.V.J.Philip\, Dy.Director Hindustan College of Arts and Science was the guest of honour for the Teachers Day celebration. Dr.Philip who has got four and a half decades of experience in teaching field shared his experience and advised the teachers to upgrade their knowledge constantly and become role model to the student community.\nThis was followed by variety entertainment programmes by students of Aviation and Polytechnic College. The program included Onam songs\, dances\, instrumental music\, Thiruvadirakali etc which was well appreciated by the audience. At the end King Mahabali entered the hall and blessed all the audience.\nThe programme ended with a vote of thanks and National Anthem.
